I grew up in Myrtle Beach...Had my first cocktail there, in the Bora Bora Room. The restaurant had a waterfall and stream that flowed throughout the dinning room...several bamboo bridges...Oh what memories.

Stayed there, did that. My grandparents decided one sumeer in the late sixties to stay there instead of with me and the folks (I was all of ten I think) in Cherry Grove at our usual spot. I remember the restaurant well, and how my parents enjoyed being able to find a spot to actually dance while in Myrtle. Thanks for the memories!

My family and I are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach this weekend, staying at a different resort. Thanks to your blurb, I think I will swing by there and check it out. Thanks again.
