1963 Mercury Comet
These are pictures of me and my Comet from more than a dozen years ago. It was a real bomb. It actually had rubber bands under the hood! It amazed me that it continued to run. $500 was too much, but I bought it anyway, and on the way home it died and we had to rebuild the carburator! It so much play in the steering, I could turn the wheel from roughly 9:30 to 2:00 and not change a thing!
