I was proud to share some of my Mai-Kai research at the Mai-Kai during Hukilau<\/a> this year. My presentation went over well and several said it brought tears to their eyes. A good sign. There were a dozen or so Mai-Kai veterans there who gave me lots of info to move forward with. And after my talk, I was interviewed for an NPR piece.
