I can only assume this is the same place in it’s earliest phase. The back of the card below dates it to 1954. <\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Owned by Mr. & Mrs. W. L. Redmon <\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n\nIts later incarnation as the Redmon Motel\/Norwood Motel. A 50’s style now and apparantly bought by the Norwoods who just stamped their name on the sign.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card gave the address that let me find the place. The address shifted to 5223, but I have to believe this is the place, although there are problems…

It sure looks like the place at first glance. Right place (almost), right stone facade and roof line. But notice the window and door in the motel are not on this building and no sign they used to be there. And the motel seems to have a little room at the front. On the other side is a Krystal now with the wrong address and on the right is another building and both lots have higher grading.
